About Portico Coffee

Portico is a collaborative space for art & coffee

Located at 2503 Roosevelt Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76164, Portico Coffee operates as a coffee shop serving Fort Worth in Texas. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Coffee in the United States is served by three kinds of places: national chains with drive-thrus and mobile ordering, independent neighborhood cafes that double as a workspace or a meeting spot, and specialty shops that roast their own beans or buy single-origin lots and brew them by pour-over, espresso or cold brew. Most open between 6 and 7 a.m. on weekdays, slightly later on weekends, and the busiest hour is the commute rush before 9. A drip coffee runs a few dollars, espresso drinks and specialty pours more, and tipping a dollar or a percentage on the card reader is customary but not required. Nearly every cafe offers free Wi-Fi, though some limit laptop seating at peak times or on weekends, and outlets are often the scarce resource.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. Typical hours are 8 am–4 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Portico Coffee at (817) 862-7232; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, porticocoffee.com.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.8 out of 5 from 202 reviews, which is a strong result for a coffee shop in Fort Worth and suggests consistent service.

Fort Worth is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Traffic in Fort Worth peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Cofee was amazing. Pastry was a little dry. We had a latte and a cappuccino. Both were awesome. We will definitely be back. Atmosphere was good.

You ever want to be in a picture-perfect dreamy little house for coffee? This is it. The coffee is better than the baked goods.

First and foremost, I want to thank Noble, the owner, for being so welcoming, kind, attentive and caring the times I've stopped by. May 19,2026 The interior is so inviting with the beautiful art all over the coffee shop and the plants as well. It's also very spacious as well as their outdoor seating which is way more spacious and so pretty. I ordered the Peach brown sugar matcha and Dande-Lemon matcha. They were both 5/5 so good and refreshing. The Peach brown sugar matcha had a subtle sweet taste and the Dande-Lemon matcha was very refreshing that I could taste some of the dandelion and hint of lemon. Noble makes the syrups which is amazing since a lot of coffee shops use generic popular syrups and sauces. The last time I stopped by I had a lavender latte which was good and not overwhelmingly strong or soapy tasting like other places. If you haven't stopped, I highly recommend you do. They have above and beyond customer service, great drinks, ample space to drink, read, eat, meet-up, meetings and or just grab a drink to go.

I appreciate the unique space and sense of style. Really, I came to Portico coffee for the Portico, the covered porch, but I was thrilled to find they serve truly specialty pour over coffee. The purple honey processed coffee beans were complex, punchy, and fruity. Its worth the drive. Parking here is easy and open. A little look into the history of this house-turned-cafe made it even more fun for me.

Okay, so this place is a quaint little spot nestled in a historical home called The Koldin House Estate, built-in 1913. It's a definite must-stop. Grab a coffee to go or sit, have a casual conversation, or just take a breather from life's stressors and enjoy one of the best cinnamon rolls you will ever taste and a great cup of coffee with homemade syrups. Definitely a hidden gem.
